Villa G. MALINVERNI is the first villa designed and built by Andrea Palladio in 1542.
The Villa, dominating the valley of Astico, offers a landscape of outstanding natural beauty.
Large gardens with statues of Albanian and Marinali adorn the central front, while the rear lies a park with formal gardens, lovely lakes and large green spaces filled with plants unique and original.
The Villa is all the principles of the craftsman A. Palladio: a central body, the main floors, two side wings, where rooms are enclosed, not representation, but daily life enriched by the dovecote and outbuildings.
The main body is composed of nine frescoed halls and furnished with original furniture of the Italian 600 and 700, and from the balcony you can enjoy a splendid view over the valley.
Three great artists produce this remarkable pictorial work at the first floor: Gualtiero Padovano, Giambattista Zelotti and Battista del Moro.
Inside the villa, situated on the ground floor you can visit the original '500 Kitchen, considered one of the most characteristic of that period.
Inside Villa Godi Malinverni you can visit also a Fossil Museum, founded in 800 by Count Piovene; into the museum there are about 350 specimens of different speciesof this area, but the most important one is a Palm's fossil, the biggest in the world, 9 metres. The extraction of the palm has required 4 years of work .

Since 1995, the house was transformed into a conference center: the meeting hall, with 250 seats, is equipped with the most modern technologies; 15 other meeting rooms can accommodate meetings from large to small meetings, always in the right environment.
In addition, 10 saloons, beautiful gardens, 3 km of park are ideal for gala dinners, presentations, exhibitions, parties, cocktails, etc ...

Notes

Villa Godi Malinverni also offers 12 rooms (including 9 frescoed one) the size of 6 meter by 9 meter, that can be used for small meetings or private dinners. On the ground floor there are other more 2 largest rooms of 9 meter by 9 meter. Inside the villa you can use about a total of 1400 square meters. On the richt of the villa there are also a porch, with Palladian colonnne, very large where we can organize lunches, buffets, cocktail lounge. Near of the porch there is another big room of additional 300 square meters. In the end, there are a Centennial Park and Gardens for setting up display areas and outdoor fairs.
