Monteleone21 is an “open winery” where visitors can enjoy a truly immersive Masi Wine Experience.
At its entrance stands a monumental grape drying hall, 12 meters high and 30 meters deep. The architectural design of this impressive structure seamlessly combines practical production needs with a sense of wonder, serving as a striking tribute to the Appassimento process, a technique in which Masi is a renowned expert. Moreover, by its very nature, this evocative space has been conceived to host the “creative ferment” of prestigious artists.

The heart of Monteleone21 is the Agora, a striking circular “square” covering over 1,000 square meters, with an impressive exposed concrete ceiling. Its design offers a contemporary take on the grand Italian architectural and engineering masterpieces of the 1950s and ’60s. Conceived as a place of conviviality, discovery, and celebration of the wines of Valpolicella, the Agora is home to the Wine Shop and the Wine Bar – Ristorante Locanda Costasera.

Monteleone21 is a multifunctional space that goes far beyond the ordinary concept of wine tourism. The culture of winemaking is the starting point for discovering the culture of the region as a whole in all its various manifestations, establishing parallels with its other characteristic products and its other expressions of art.
