Villa Bordone, also called "La Rocchetta," was designed by Aldo Andreani, a well-known Mantuan architect belonging to the eclecticism current; it was built between 1920 and 1923. The building, surrounded by a park of 80,000 sqm, has the outward appearance of a medieval fortress enriched by a multiplicity of architectural elements and decorations of different features and styles. The villa, until a few years ago used only as a private residence, can be the perfect place to host business and cultural events: summits, conventions, training sessions, conferences, presentations, meetings, and business lunches. The possibility of ensuring overnight accommodation for a certain number of guests makes this location particularly suitable for events that extend over several days. The building has three floors: on the ground floor are the rooms formerly used as a lounge, study and dining room (which can be used as meeting rooms), the kitchen, service rooms and an original bathroom from the 1930s; via a fine wooden and wrought-iron staircase, made by the well-known master Mazzuccotelli, you will access to the second floor which includes five bedrooms and two bathrooms; on the second floor are the billiard and game room (usable for meetings and small gatherings) from which you may enjoy a beautiful view of the park, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The villa is in the municipality of Bosisio Parini near national road SS36 which connects the city of Milan with Lecco and the Lake Como area; it can be reached in about 45 minutes from Milan, 30 minutes from Monza, 10 minutes from Lecco and 40 minutes from Como.
