In the heart of Val d’Ayas, the ancient land of the Challand counts, Torretta Hotel represents the Aosta Valley’s best hospitality: the warm design, the impeccable cuisine, the careful and discrete treatment, and a flourishing valley that embraces the hotel set at the feet of Monte Rosa.
Nestled at 1100 meters above sea level in the enchanting Maé village, the hotel has a wonderful view on Mont Nery and Dame di Challand peaks, on Graines Castle and on mountain pastures and Alpine huts.
After the renovation, in 2006 Torretta Hotel reopens and continues the family tradition carried on by three generations.

Meeting room
In the multi-function room “Lo Chiambron”, a 120 sq. mt. area entirely panelled with old Larch wood, it is possible to organize a special evening with friends, a business meeting, a seminar or a team building event. (Equipment and accessories: projector, audio/video system, microphones, personal computer plugs, Wi-Fi and wired network, flip chart, and yoga fittings).

Rooms
Thanks to mosaics and engraving, each of the 16 rooms grants a unique character and all benefit of wooden perfumes and sounds, of the view of castles and woods that you can admire from the windows. We can feature: Charme (8 double rooms - 20 sq. mt.) and Comfort (8 double, triple or four-bedded rooms - 30 sq. mt.). All the rooms have LCD DTTV, free Wi-Fi (upon request), safety box, terrace/balcony.
At 150 meters from the hotel, the 16th century Chalet “Maison Dominique” (Chambre d’Hôtes) has 6 bedrooms (3 twin bed and 3 double bed).

Restaurant
The warm atmosphere and the Aosta Valley mountain savours transform each meal into an unforgettable gastronomic experience. A cuisine enriched by homemade and local products, delicious regional recipes and the culinary art of Chef Paola Voulaz, grant refinement and pleasure.
La Majon Restaurant, thanks to its mountain-hut atmosphere, is an intimate background where you can delight your palate with the typical recipes of the mountain cuisine and the regional wines. The precious ancient wood (14th – 18th century), the fireplace warmth will turn your meal into a memory to treasure inside your heart.
In the morning the rich buffet breakfast is one of our strong point, offering bread and homemade desserts, as well as local cheese and salami. Devote to a philosophy linked to nature and well-being, an important choice of organic products are at your disposal and on request a good celiac selection.
From our own bio production: vegetables and green salads, home-made bread and pasta, laboratory for processing of Lard, Coppa, Mocetta made with traditional old recipes handed by the Family. To complete the devotion and philosophy committed to natural products, the new born brand “Gelato KMØ”.
