The spatial configuration makes it possible to alternate formal, convivial and cultural moments within an archaeological setting of exceptional authority.
At the heart of the events programme is the Aula Adrianea, a monumental hall which, by virtue of its scale and scenographic impact, serves as the principal venue for corporate, institutional and cultural events. Capacity varies according to the selected layout:
Seated dinner: approximately 120–150 guests
Standing buffet dinner: up to 150 guests
Conferences and meetings: approximately 120–150 guests
The flexibility of the layout allows for multiple configurations, always ensuring a balance between guest comfort, architectural enhancement and full respect for the archaeological Site.
Alongside the Aula Adrianea, the second portion of the complex — the Insula — offers a more intimate and highly distinctive setting, ideal for curated cultural events, private institutional gatherings, editorial presentations, board meetings or limited-capacity experiential formats.
Arranged across three levels, the Insula reveals the complexity of Roman domestic architecture through a stratified reading of residential environments and their original functions. The different floors are connected by the only surviving example of a Roman staircase, an element of exceptional rarity that lends continuity and a strong identity to the entire architectural body.
The interiors preserve authentic mosaic floors and frescoed decorative schemes, bearing witness to the original aesthetic quality of the space. Seamlessly integrated within the rooms, these features constitute one of the Insula’s defining characteristics, offering a setting of absolute distinction capable of combining historical value, evocative power and scenographic impact.
With a total surface area of approximately 159 square metres, the Insula presents itself as a spacious and flexible environment, suitable both for cultural use and for controlled activities compatible with the value of the site. The maximum capacity, defined in full compliance with safety and conservation regulations, allows for up to 30 guests per floor, thereby ensuring both the quality of the experience and the protection of the heritage.
The complementarity between the monumentality of the Aula Adrianea and the more intimate, stratified dimension of the Insula enables the design of articulated event formats, multi-space experiential journeys and distinct moments within the same occasion, fully enhancing the architectural complexity and cultural vocation of the Site.
