The oldest cinema in the capital is located in the very central Piazza della Repubblica: built in January 1904 and reborn in 1999, as a 5-screen Cityplex, thanks to the renovation by Warner Village Cinemas. During the refurbishment, the fresco "The Triumph of Light" was found, which formed the ceiling of the old Modern room. This work, painted by the painters Ballester and Guazzoni in 1904, restored to its original splendor, represents the triumph of Photography.
