Profile

Planning Congressi was established in 1988 in Bologna - Italy.
In the early 2000s, following the introduction of the Italian CME accreditation system, Planning Congressi specialized in this area, providing accredited educational courses.
In 2010 Planning became a Provisional CME Provider; in 2013 it has been qualified by the National Commission for Continuing Medical Education as an accredited Standard Provider with the ID code 38.
To date, the staff consists of 27 people.
Planning Congressi headquarter covers over 700 square meters with 44 workstations and a conference room for 30 people.

ISO certification
In 2005, PLANNING Congressi obtained UNI EN ISO 9001-2000 quality certification for the procedures needed for planning and implementation of educational events
In 2008, the certification was reconfirmed and converted to UNI EN ISO 9001-2008

Planning Congressi has a specific know-how in the medical and scientific training, and provides an expert advice at every stage of the project: conceiving, target identification, CME accreditation, technical support, fundraising, implementation, management and analysis of results.
It has partnerships with Opinion Leaders and Scientific Societies, with which plans ODL and residential events
It conceives educational formats in which, thanks to interactive software, enhances the experience, learning and knowledge of learners
It has created a platform for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) courses in compliance with CME rules

Planning Congressi offers its services to support the membership of many Scientific Societies:
Delegated Provider for CME management activities
Definition of training projects, in collaboration with the Educational Scientific Board, complying with the members’ needs.
Secretariat Management: registrations, membership newsletters, organization of membership meetings, ordinary newsletters, website and social media management.
Development of partnerships with universities in order to organize Educational Courses and Masters of Higher Professional Education
