Profile
The agricultural estate, belonged once to the Altieris and subsequently to the Pallavicini Mori’s family, hosts today a welcoming agritourism surrounded by majestic oaks and the testimony of the Etruscan and the Roman civilization. Everything looks like it looked centuries ago, from the cultivate fields of cereals and farms to the ancient buildings.
The Borgo is dipped among the wonderful Tevere’s riverbed and the suggestive hills in the north of Rome, which are rich in millennial woods and wide cultivated fields. These lavish fields are characterised by fascinating colours which rapidly change as seasons go by.
Few minutes from the center of Rome and from the main streets and highways, the guest will immediately notice the perfect combination of nature and hospitality the Borgo offers. The guest’s awakening will also be accompanied by the chirping of a vast variety of birds and an immediate sensation of comfort and tranquillity.
The farmsteads, which guest Borgo’s twelve chambers, are called after the ancient names used in the territory by the locals: Procoio, Fontanaccio and Polverino, whose furnishing have been created with a sought care for details in order to make a pleasant and comfortable stay for the guest. Some of the chambers lean out on the enchanting internal court (which hosts an ancient fountain), on the romantic hills, on the Etruscan caves and the Tevere’s valley.
The Pallavicini’s restaurant clearly reminds of the ancient times in a modern framework and throughout the presence of works of art of rare importance, the restaurant can guest big events too. From its windows the guest can admire the wonderful landscape while tasting at the same time, traditional dishes issued from the local and mediterrean gastronomy and even a great amount of typical products, some of them are produced by our company.
The Sala Altieri, built over the combination of ancient and modern elements, is a wide hall which can be used to host meetings, conventions and any type of event.
Beyond Bar del Tino, next to the barn, appears surprisingly a swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and, right behind them, a wonderful scenario emerges: a colourful hill hosting multiple cultivated fields.
The Area Spa Grotta della Regina owes its name to the close cave which still exists today although it was used by the Etruscans first and by the Romans shortly after. Inside a little farmstead there are a comfortable sauna cabin and a modern steam room, whereas on the outside there is a wide terrace which shows the view to the guests, who can relax and enjoy the quiet while feeling the perfumes of the trees and the flowers.
