The Relais il Falconiere & Spa is a charming hamlet kept in the heart of the Tuscan countryside where the hills give way to the enchanting town of Cortona which is only 3 km far away. The love for this land rich in history and traditions, place of origin of the best expression of Tuscany, has inspired and guided from the beginning the great dream of Silvia and Riccardo Baracchi: transforming the ancient family villa from the seventeenth century, in a jewel of hospitality.
The first chapter of the history of Il Falconiere began in 1988 with the careful restoration of the "farm" where Riccardo spent his afternoons during his childhood. After the harvest of 1989, the project becomes reality and the scenario in which they are linked so many happy memories, welcomes an elegant country hotel, built with respect to the surrounding area.
Today, 25 years after its inauguration, lI Falconiere offers a Michelin Star restaurant since 2002, an award-winning wine cellar and an elegant SPA with exclusive products of Officina del Profumo from Santa Maria Novella in Florence: a charming little world suspended in time which has kept intact the simplicity of two boys in love with a dream, from which came a wonderful story.
Il Falconiere offers a new concept of MICE : environments, spaces and experiences that will involve and motivate guests, making their participation unique and exclusive.
