L'Andaba lies in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, south Tuscany. It is located in a delightful natural setting of gently rolling hills carpeted in olive groves and vineyards that alternate rhythmically northwards to become dense Mediterranean macchia, mysterious, wild and often severe. Here the scents of the Tuscan countryside blend with the salty smell of the Mediterranean Sea, stimulating the senses and whispering to the soul. The view from the estate stretches as far as the eye can see, to where the turquoise of the waves merges with the intense blue of the Tuscan sky. As you gaze into the distance, you cannot fail to spy the ancient town of Castiglione della Pescaia, which has been awarded the top score of "five blue sails" by the Legambiente guide and Touring Club Italiano due to its clear water, clean beaches and historic heritage.

The Resort is composed of four buildings, La Villa (central building with 33 rooms), La Casa Badiola (14 rooms at about 150 meters from the central building), La Scuderia (private villa with 4 rooms 100 meters from the central building) and Il Granaio (10 rooms 200 meters from the central building).

The Villa is composed of 33 rooms with great attention to details and furnished. All rooms have a beautiful view of the Maremma countryside and the atmosphere of each is warmed up by a pleasant stone fireplace of fine Tuscan manufacture. All the rooms are bathed in natural light from either the windows, spacious terrace or private garden overlooking the surrounding countryside, the green and the variegated Maremma landscape.

Casa Badiola (14 rooms), captures the soul of the Maremma landscape and wins the hearts of its guests with a genuine, authentic atmosphere, interwoven with that rare intimacy of a real home, “Casa” in Italian.
Surrounded by the lovely colours of unspoilt nature, Casa Badiola Golf House came about to meet the needs of the travellers of the soul, those who seek the opportunity to understand themselves and reveal their interior make-up, and the chance to discover and explore new places.

La Scuderia, is a 300 m² two-story exclusive private villa with a private pool, sprawling garden, four guest rooms, a bright kitchen and living area and a shaded porch that offers superb views over the Tuscan landscape.
This was the former stable of the Grand Duke’s hunting reserve, and it has been lovingly transformed into a delightful hideaway filled with comfortable furnishings and beautifully preserved original features from the eighteenth century.

The Granaio consists of 10 rooms where the refined and elegant style respects the history of the building and the homogeneity of the master villa, offering a bold country chic look, with more vibrant colors and contemporary choice of fabrics and velvet. These rooms are the èerfect choice for families and groups of friends; they can be connected to create a large apartment, with a fully equipped kitchenette. The other rooms can also be combined into 5 two-bedroom apartments and offer a breathtaking panorama over the vineyards and the long drive lined with centuries-old cypress trees.

Notes

Three different rooms, all located in the old granary of the residence of Leopold II Grand Duke of Tuscany, artfully restored to add functionality to beauty. The materials reflect the soul of the territory: exposed stone for the walls, in delicate shades of white, beige and tortora, baked for the floors and white exposed beams for the ceilings. A delicate and light décor that makes these spaces adaptable to be “dressed” for any event: from business meeting to ceremony, from party to showroom. The Sala Veranda is characterized by large windows opening onto the garden and vegetable gardens of the Trattoria Toscana: a view embellished by the central fireplace in stone and wood, which dominates the room and gives a touch of intimacy to the atmosphere here. Sala Giglio and Sala Leopold II are next to each other and are located on the first floor. Illuminated by a pleasant natural light, these rooms can be used separately or together. The Sala Leopoldo II has a large size and is punctuated by a series of white wooden columns that create an interesting interplay of volumes, with which to have fun creating the ideal space for your event. The rooms are equipped with modernt equipment and can be customized in shape and size thanks to the presence of movable walls.
