It is an ancient patrician villa built by Bishop Luca Antonio Resta at the beginning of the XVI century and then become the summer residence of the noble family Resta of Francavilla Fontana. Over the centuries, it has become famous for hosting historical figures such as pilot officers Bruno and Vittorio Mussolini and Prince Umberto di Savoia. Symbol of prestige dedicated to hospitality, our event location in the province of Brindisi also has important historical and artistic value, thanks to the Messapic age archaeological finds and the valuable paintings of the painter Vincenzo Zingaropoli (1779-1836), kept in the Baroque style church annexed to the villa.
