THE SURROUNDING AREA
Hotel Sporting, in fact, is situated in an ideal location, near the centre of Teramo and its beautiful river park. Likewise, it is in the center of the province, halfway between the Adriatic coast, which has some of the best beaches in Italy and the mountains, including Italy’s Gran Sasso, the highest peak of the Apennines.
This enchanting picture is completed by a splendid hillside, with fascinating hamlets full of history, and a choice of culinary delights of which the hospitable land of Abruzzo has always been proud.
