The "Relais Il Canalicchio" is located on top of a hill between vineyards and olive groves and is composed of an entire widespread village, of medieval origins, built around the "Castello di Poggio" which dates back to the X-XI century which, with its imposing tower and a splendid church.
Over the years, the Relais has almost completely renovated and incorporated the village of Canalicchio, an intact and shining oasis of peace, where only the chirping of birds interrupts the relaxing quiet. It offers two hospitality solutions: in the Borgo Resort with 30 rooms including the prestigious Tower Suite located in the fortress and in the adjacent buildings and in the Country Resort, recently built in the same style as the village, and offers 2 three-room apartments and 14 Country Superior ( two-room apartments 80 meters from the main building): with spacious double bedrooms, bathroom, living room with sofa and large terrace overlooking the swimming pool (seasonal) recently renovated in 2022 and garden.
Inside, the historical and rural memory of the place returns to manifest itself, still preserving its clear castle structure and boasting the huge and beautiful mill macera, the old press and the beautiful arches, which evoke the enchanting atmosphere and the charm of yesteryear.
Inside the Borgo Resort there are the other services of the Relais: the "Il Pavone" restaurant, an exclusive meeting place with its panoramic veranda, where you can savor the delights of regional cuisine, creatively revisited by the chef (the Charter dei Vini is based on the best of the territory's offer and on a selection of the most prestigious Italian wines), 3 meeting rooms for 10 to 60 people, the plenary room is equipped with video projector, screen, flipchart, billiard room, room fireplace, bar, panoramic terrace, swimming pool (seasonal) with solarium, a small spa with sauna, turkish bath, relaxation area (the whirlpool tub currently under maintenance). We organize various Team building activities related to corporate events, cooking classes, events and weddings.
